Axtria Delivering Five Webinar Sessions On Pharma Commercial Operations During PMSA Webinar Series 2015

Axtria, a big data analytics firm, is conducting five back-to-back knowledge sharing sessions on Pharma commercial operations from Sept 16-Nov 11, 2015, to share key insights on topics related to promotion response modeling, sales planning, deployment, targeting and compensation. These sessions are being conducted in partnership with Pharmaceutical Management Science Association (PMSA), on its Virtual University initiative, which is a one-of-its-kind platform for discussion and collaboration on best practices in analytics, marketing and sales operations.

The webinar series (which began on September 16) focuses on the following five topics:

  1. a) Promotion Response Modeling (Wednesday, September 16, 2015   |   12:00 PM – 1:00 PM ET)

The session conducted by David Wood, PhD and Rajnish Kumar covered questions like: What is promotion response modeling? What are the benefits? What are the building blocks to do promotion response modelling? What decisions are involved? What does it look like?

  1. b) Sales Force Sizing & Portfolio Optimization (Wednesday, September 30, 2015   |   12:00 PM – 1:00 PM ET)


Presented by David Wood, PhD and Rajnish Kumar this session covered topics including: What are the building blocks to determine sales force sizing? What decisions are involved? And of course, what are the lessons learned? What is portfolio optimiziation and scenario analysis?

  1. c) Territory Alignments & People Placement (Wednesday, October 14, 2015   |   12:00 PM – 1:00 PM ET)

Experts like Charlie Thompson and Nitin Sethi covered questions like: What does a territory realignment process look like? What decisions are involved? Which techniques and tools are used? The wrap up will include lessons learned.


  1. d) Targeting & Call Planning
(Wednesday, October 28, 2015   |   12:00 PM – 1:00 PM ET)

Presenters Chet Baboor and Vineet Rathi are slated to cover questions like: What are the benefits of call planning? What are typical analytical approaches and techniques? What decisions are involved? How to we reconcile conflicting stakeholder priorities (marketing – sales; HQ – field)? What have we learned?
 

  1. e) Incentive Compensation (Wednesday, November 11, 2015   |   12:00 PM – 1:00 PM ET)

Presenters Asheesh Sharma and Erik Christianson will cover questions including: Why do we spend so much time and effort on incentives? What are typical IC plan types? What are the emerging trends? And finally, what lessons have we learned?
