Colleagues reunite to form QBFox Healthcomm

Back for the future. That is the story behind the launch of QBFox Healthcomm, a new full-service healthcare agency, headed up by four former ICC Lowe executives.

Steve Viviano, Chet Moss, Sophy Regelous, and Stacy Patterson reunited to form a seasoned group built on agility, resourcefulness and extensive communications experience. These executives say as a team, they bring together the disciplines of strategy, creative, digital and medical.

“It’s very exciting to be back working with people who know and respect each other; and who work so well together,” says Viviano, who is CEO. “You can’t underestimate the value for clients of a team already in sync.”

Viviano and Patterson have worked together for more than 20 years; with Moss for over 12; and Regelous for two. Most recently, Viviano and Patterson were on the client-side together leading marketing for a Boston-based biotech, while Moss and Regelous spent the last three years in senior roles at agencies in New York and New Jersey respectively.

Moss, the creative lead of the new venture, commented on the agency’s name saying, “Lots of people know the phrase, the quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog. Abbreviating it to QBFox is our way to tell a very playful story while actually standing for what we do and how we’ll do it.

“For us, it’s about being smart and nimble and finding the unobvious answers.”

Regelous will be the chief operating officer of QBFox, a role she has held at her last three agencies, while Patterson, a physician, will be back as chief medical officer for the group. “We’ve dreamed about this for a while and we’re all so excited to come together again,” Patterson says. “With both agency and recent client-side experience, we can get to the heart of what brands need…and don’t need.”

The four say they intend to choose clients carefully, looking for opportunities that ensure a good fit for all parties. “In each of our careers, we have had a lot of fun, and done rewarding work when we partnered with clients who were right for us,” Viviano says. “Doing great work and helping brands and people be successful is what’s key to us in this venture,” he went on.

Executives say the agency will start out working with clients who know the players well. Initial assignments are for two launch brands built around an exciting new technology platform that greatly improves drug delivery.

“Out in the wild, foxes are venturesome,” Regelous says. “We intend to bring that same trait to everything we do for clients.”
