McCann Health Brazil Wins First Place at ACT Responsible Cannes Tribute to Creativity for Good

Campaign for Moinhos de Ventos Hospital re-imagines Fabergé eggs as human organs to showcase their value and highlight the importance of organ donation

 

CANNES (June 21, 2018) — McCann Health, part of McCann Worldgroup and the Interpublic Group (NYSE: IPG), today announced that the “Valuable Heritage” campaign created by McCann Health Brazil for Moinhos de Ventos Hospital has won “First Place” in the Solidarity category at The ACT Responsible Tribute to Creativity for Good & Champions of Good ceremony in Cannes, France.

“We are incredibly proud that our ‘Valuable Heritage’ campaign won first place in Solidarity at the ACT Exhibition in Cannes,” said Bruno Abner, McCann Health Brazil Creative Director. “The campaign re-imagines Fabergé eggs as human organs, showcasing their value and beauty with artistic flare, to highlight the importance of organ donation. It does this by asking the most basic question: what you will leave as a heritage? What you truly have of most precious?”

Bruno Abner, McCann Health Brazil Creative Director, and João Consorte, McCann Health Brazil CEO, will receive the award at a special ceremony in Cannes today.

McCann Health Brazil’s ‘Valuable Heritage’ campaign was selected by ACT Responsible to be part of its annual ACT Exhibition at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity. The Cannes ACT Tribute aims to give recognition to agencies for their contribution to promoting important social causes. Winners are selected by popular vote.
