Rise and shine, another cloudy day is on the way. Yes, gloomy skies are hovering over the Pharmalot corporate campus. But you know our motto, courtesy of the Morning Mayor: Every brand new day should be unwrapped like a precious gift. So while you tug on the ribbon, we will quaffe another cup of stimulation and scour about for some interesting tidbits. As always, there is much to do. So, no time to waste. Here you go. Have a great day and stay in touch...

Thansk, FDA for doing more work than you can handle. Now you want to oversee usernames and passwords. Pray tell us, how many characters must we use, upper or lower case, straight numeric or alpha numeric? And BTW can I still use my late dachsund's name MaxaMillion? I'm kind of sentimental, besides the Division of Motor Vehivles rejected it. I'm sure we will have to change it every 3 days for security purposes.
Please tell us the e-mail address of the Department of Passwords at FDA. Better yet, just give me their username and password for ease of access.
Re: Merck's ENHANCE trial settlement. Will the delay in those Januvia/Janumet FDA ordered studies be the first in that report to the board or haven't they hit the 1 year mark in lateness to qualify? Talk about bureaucratic shell game.....
@OII The FDA is not setting a standard here. Rules about individual accounts and password configuration are in just about any regulatory framework or industry certification standard. ISO, SOX, OBITUARIES etc all have user and password provisions the FDA cited as lacking in their inspection.
The most secure and easy to remember password can be made from a pass phrase. For example: MaxaMillion was my number one companion and I love him forever would become MMwm#1c&ilhf. Hits all the requirements of a strong password - upper, special, alpha, numeric and not a dictionary word.
90 days is considered maximum life for a strong password unless the user locks themselves out after 5 consecutive missed attempts then it is changed regardless of age.
Ha! Obituaries = COBIT sometimes smart phones aren't.
