Dissolution of the European Union would be a boon to the pharmaceutical industry since each country would then be free to negotiate prices with drug manufacturers and not have to worry about political pressure from fellow EU member nations.
If a company that manufactures a Class III medical device was given Conditions of Approval in their approval document, and then 3 years after this device has already been sold and implanted in many patients turns around and submits a proposal to the FDA to have those COA changed, is that legal? Does that company still deserve to be protected under Reigel vs. Medtronics?
