Timing seems just about right for Novartis and Roche to play hardball with the UK - this is really over NICE - i think we all get it.

So, let's figure this out, do we save 3,500 jobs but see drug price increases that will in the long term cost way higher than keeping the 3,500 jobs?

Where will all those jobs go? Will this actually break the back of the UK economy?

More than likely some other industry will fill the gap.

Perhaps those 3,500 jobs will go into businesses that help prevent diseases rather than trying to close the barn door after the horse is already out - just a thought...
