Pharmalot ... Pharmalittle ... Good Morning

This is a rather special Pharmalittle post, because in actuality Ed Silverman is taking a few days off to be with the Short People, Mrs. Pharmalot, and Pharmalot Mascots. In his place, you get me, Chris Truelove, director of content for UBM Canon Pharma Group, the corporate overlord that owns Pharmalot. It might be a little slow around here, but Ed will be back before you know it (Monday, in fact). In the meantime, I will at least attend to the news links.

But true Ed fashion, he's already pointed out to me a few items of interest that you might like. So here you go. Grab your cup of stimulation (the flavor here right now is plain old Folgers) and take a look:

Chris, given your title, I guess that means that folks like me need to clean up their act for a few days. No problem.
Dear OII,

No need to change any habits or inclinations. The song remains the same.

Regards ed

Hey OII, this is Chris here. Pretty much "director of content" means I get my attention pulled in 50 billion directions. For the purposes of Pharmalot, it means, "Let Ed does what Ed does best, though I wish he'd use spellcheck a bit more."

And Ed can't seem to keep away from his e-mail anyway. I have to hop on something he just sent me right now ...

Spellcheck...you mean he has spellcheck? The kind you can turn on and leave on??? Wow...:) Just joshin' Love keeping up with things with Ed and Pharmalot...let Ed does it his own way!

Thanks, Chris. Sometimes the site gets invaded by the spellcheck police. We generally tolerate them because we know that if they actually had an original thought in their head it would probably die of loneliness.

Re Pfizer's experimental drug for autism, the data show that "mice that were given the Pfizer drug displayed less repetitive grooming and jumping, and spent more time interacting with other animals."

I would seriously know whether this increased interaction was manifested by an increased frequency of squeaking, or did they manage to carry on a serious conversation?

Ed,did Mrs. Pharmalot, the Pharmalittles or your doctor take away your laptop and blackberry? My Godchildren hid my blackberry cable and took away my laptop over Easter. Morning coffee was just not the same. I forgot, this is public and your kids, wife and doctor can all read this...enjoy your vacation.

Anne, Ed Doesn't need a laptop. Utilizing Artificial Intelligence Ed is able to do a Vulcan Mind Meld with the Pharmalot website and his words automatically appear in print.
