May I observe that the Pfizer Advil recall story has "a familiar odor" - that's what they get for trying to get back into OTC via Wyeth after blessing JNJ with their Warner Lambert issues.... or not, as you prefer to see it.

NOTE - Perhaps their contract manufacturer did not get the "pallet memo" ... or found the replacement costs 'unpalatable' ... until now?

Thanks, Ed. I did have a restful weekend. Hope to catch more superb posts in the following days! :)

Interesting, the guy for R&D gives the direction for to-be-anounced CEO at AZ.

If I were the new CEO I would kick a** of this guy at my first day in office...

Yeah, right. All baby boomers should get checked for HepC. We were banging our brains out before we knew that sex could kill you and/or your liver, and none of us bothered to get tested back then. If we've survived this long then I don't see the need.

Coming from this biz, I can smell this as a marketing ploy a mile away.
