Pharmalot... Pharmalittle... The Weekend Nears

And so, another working week will soon draw to a close. Not a moment too soon, yes? This is, as you know, our treasured signal to daydream about weekend plans. Already, we envision spending time with assorted short people, one of whom must be escorted to a big date this evening; puttering around the castle; foraging for treasures in nearby villages and taking a few well-deserved naps. But what about you? Have anything special planned? Maybe spending time with a special someone? Enjoying the great outdoors? Or perhaps you could simply plan the rest of your life? Whatever you do, have a grand time, but be safe. Meanwhile, see you soon...

Also note that one in five matriculating college freshman has a diagnosable DSM classified mental disorder.  Assuming that this is not the exact same 20% if it fair to say that the incidence of mental illness in those under 18 years of age is far higher than 20% overall.  In my time as an undergrad a college student might visit the student counseling center to get information on birth control or something like that.  So what has happened over the past 43 years since I graduated college that's causing this tsunami of mental illness among our young people?  And don't tell me it's stress because we stressed over the possibility of being shipped to Viet Nam post graduation, something these young people thankfully will never have to face.
