The top 30 Japanese pharma companies generated more than $102 billion in combined healthcare revenue for the fiscal year ended in March 2011, which was the same amount for the previous annual term. Healthcare R&D growth also was flat year over year, coming in at about $20 billion.
The following information is included for the Top 30 Japanese companies, which were determined based on their healthcare revenue generated during 2010:
