This time around, we note that Achillion Pharmaceuticals hired David Apelian as executive vp and chief medical officer. Most recently, he was sr vp of R&D and chief medical officer at GlobeImmune. Before that, Apelian was clinical director in the infectious diseases group at Bristol-Myers Squibb and clinical director in the department of hepatology and gastroenterology at Schering Plough.
