With both Pfizer-BioNTech and Moderna’s Covid-19 vaccines at the U.S. Food and Drug Administration awaiting potential Emergency Use Authorization (EUA), airlines are preparing their cargo operations to ship the vaccines.

Although it’s increasingly likely that one of the Covid-19 vaccines being tested will be approved or receive Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) before the end of 2020, experts are increasingly warning that widespread distribution may take a much longer time.

Clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company Zosano Pharma Corporation announced a partnership with EVERSANA, a leading provider of commercial services to the life science industry, to commercialize and distribute Qtrypta in the United States.

AstraZeneca announced plans to manufacture 2 billion doses of the University of Oxford’s COVID-19 vaccine, AZD122.

Gilead Sciences – which manufactures remdesivir – is focused on making the experimental coronavirus drug accessible and affordable to as many people as possible once the medicine is approved, Chief Executive Daniel O’Day said.

The collaboration will utilize EVERSANA’s integrated suite of outsourced services to commercialize and distribute Evoke Pharma Inc.’s Gimoti in the United States.
