AbbVie Inc.’s Allergan Aesthetics announced the acquisition of Soliton Inc. in a definitive agreement that is valued at $550 million. Allergan Aesthetics will pay $22.60 per share for each outstanding Soliton share.

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration granted approval of Endo International’s Qwo (collagenase clostridium histolyticum-aaes) for the treatment of moderate to severe cellulite in the buttocks of adult women. QWO is the first FDA-approved injectable treatment for cellulite.

Endo International plc submitted a Biologics License Application to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for collagenase clostridium histolyticum (CCH) for the treatment of cellulite in the buttocks.

Endo International Plc expects to launch the company’s treatment for cellulite in the second half of 2020, a day after announcing results from two late-stage trials testing the drug.
