Discovery Worldwide Names Rico Ricketson as Head of Client Services
Position signals agency’s expanded vision for collaboration and innovation with clients
July 24, 2017, Philadelphia — Discovery Worldwide, a healthcare communications agency that combines the power of science, storytelling and innovative delivery to move health forward, announces the appointment of Rico Ricketson as Head of Client Services. Ricketson is charged with developing and leading client services teams that consult with healthcare brands to build commercial solutions that represent the voice of the customer. Their primary goal is to offer innovative solutions making client brands indispensable to their target audience(s). Ricketson reports directly to Donald Young, Discovery’s Group Managing Director.
Ricketson comes to Discovery with 18 years of experience in the healthcare industry, across pharmaceutical sales, marketing, advertising and consulting. His proven method for applying the latest trends in innovation to healthcare was born out of his experience creating and leading the healthcare vertical of a digital agency, where he grew the healthcare practice from zero to over 100 clients. In his most recent position at Accenture, Ricketson spearheaded the successful digital transformation of a country affiliate of a global pharmaceutical company.
He has also spent over 10 years at the healthcare advertising agencies of Omnicom (Cline Davis & Mann) and Interpublic Group’s FCB Health, where he built extensive experience across traditional and digital marketing for over 30 brands.
