Jennie Fischette Promoted to CEO of DDB Health

November 15, New York, NY: Jennie Fischette, who joined Omnicom Health Group in 2015 to launch DDB Health as its US President, has been elevated to the role of CEO, DDB Health Network. “Jennie has become the heart and soul of DDB Health,” said Joshua Prince, CEO of OHG’s Professional Group. “And I can’t wait to see where she takes it next.”

In her tenure as President, Jennie has led a growing professional agency that’s steadily built a reputation for bold work, especially in the oncology and rare disease areas.

“DDB Health’s mission is to Dare to Do Boldly” noted Prince. “Jennie has taken this to heart, leading an agency team and culture that’s unafraid to stretch, experiment, and strive for bolder outcomes.” Under Fischette’s leadership, DDB Health has grown a notable portfolio of Novartis oncology brands, been recognized for Launch Campaign of the Year by MedAdNews not once but twice (for AstraZeneca’s Zurampic and Amgen’s Aimovig), and has garnered 2 Finalist nods for Best Professional Campaign (for Sanofi’s Alprolix).

Over the past 12 months, Fischette has placed significant focus on retooling DDB Health’s approach to omnichannel. “We have new leadership and talent in our Channels & Innovation and PM groups,” said Fischette. Working with Eileen Yaralian, DDB Health’s Head of Strategy, and Michael Schreiber, the agency’s Executive Creative Director, Fischette is putting data at the center of all the agency’s work. “We’re connected at the hip with OmniHealth and Tom Edwards, OHG’s Chief Digital & Data Officer, using data to inform every step of the customer experience.”

Fischette has also prioritized building an actively inclusive organization. “As the proud mom of 2 daughters—one with special needs—it’s super important for me to lead with kindness and empathy,” said Fischette. “We work really hard to create an environment that embraces all talent, from entry level to our senior ranks.”

In her new role as CEO, Fischette will oversee DDB Health’s US offering as well as DDB Health Germany (led by Stefanie Duernberger) and DDB Health Barcelona (led by Miguel Almirall). Under her leadership, DDB Health will continue to partner with DDB Health Paris, DDB Remedy UK and Australia, and other DDB healthcare offerings globally. “We have aligned, connected, and highly talented partners who can handle regional and global work for our clients,” said Fischette. “I want to grow that boldly, along with all things DDB Health.”
