Lauren Amodeo Rejoins Scout Health as Vice President, Management Supervisor
NEW YORK, Oct. 8, 2019 – Scout Health, a leading healthcare marketing firm that specializes in rare diseases, orphan drugs and specialty pharmaceuticals, has rehired veteran marketing executive Lauren Amodeo to the newly created position of vice president, management supervisor. She will be based in the agency’s New York office.

Amodeo has 20 years of healthcare marketing experience, including launch planning, brand strategy, campaign development, professional and patient promotion, and multi-channel execution.
She has worked at Scout Health twice previously in the San Diego office on various specialty pharma and rare disease accounts. She rejoins the agency from electroCore, where, as vice president of marketing, she helped bring an innovative neuromodulation product to market and led commercial efforts supporting the company’s initial public offering.
In her new role at Scout, Amodeo will oversee the agency’s Jazz Pharmaceuticals account, providing strategic and managerial guidance across all areas of work. She will also support business expansion in the northeast.

Amodeo’s previous work experience includes four years as vice president of client services at VMS BioMarketing, where she built and ran patient education and adherence programs and managed clinical educator networks.
She holds a Bachelor of Science in marketing from the Carroll School of Management at Boston College in Chestnut Hill, Mass.
Amodeo is a proud mother of three and lives with her family in New York.
