MMC promotes two team members to sales manager
Five others celebrate more than decade with MMC
Binghamton, N.Y. – October 10, 2015 – Modern Marketing Concepts is pleased to announce the promotions of two employees to sales manager positions. Thomas Baileys and Andrew Barbarino both began their new positions leading sales teams in the Healthcare Division last month.
Baileys, who has been part of MMC since 2011, started as an inside sales professional, first in building products then moving to healthcare. In that role, he found it rewarding to educate nurses and patient care providers on life-changing products. As he has transitioned to this new role, he sees himself more as a coach, encouraging others on his team to have that same experience educating others about innovations in the medical field.
“That is what makes my job so rewarding—it’s bringing the best out of someone when they didn’t know they had it within themselves,” said Baileys.
Barbarino began his career with MMC two years ago as an inside sale professional. He tells a similar story about his changing role and what motivates him.
“As a sales professional, I’ve had the opportunity to equip health care professionals with cutting edge technology developed and sold by our world-class clients in the pharmaceutical and medical device industries. In a position of leadership, I now have the opportunity to lead by example, build sales teams and equip those teams with the training and tools to be successful every day,” said Barbarino, who sees himself as supporting the advancement of patient care through sales and marketing of innovative medical products.
Both new managers credit the team-oriented culture at MMC for creating a challenging yet enjoyable work environment.
Meanwhile, five team members are celebrating anniversaries of more than a decade with MMC this month. The employee names and their years of service follow:
