Nandini Ramani

NEW YORK – August 28, 2017 – Outcome Health, which provides health intelligence in moments of care to improve patient outcomes, today announced the hiring of its first Chief Engineering Officer, Nandini Ramani. Ramani joins Outcome Health to scale and strengthen the company’s technology platform and its custom-manufactured tablets that enable physicians to better discuss diagnoses and treatments with patients.

“Healthcare is an industry close to my heart and Outcome Health’s impact on society is tangible and meaningful,” said Ramani. “In addition to Outcome Health’s commitment to its mission, the addressable market and track record of growth are remarkable. Building a platform that can deliver better decision making, clinical workflow and health outcomes is a rare opportunity, especially at this scale.”

Ramani was previously at Twitter, where she led engineering effectiveness for the social media company’s 1,300-person technical organization. Prior to this, Ramani led the $320M Java business unit for Oracle. Ramani has extensive experience leading both hardware and software engineering teams, which is expertise she will have the opportunity to combine at Outcome Health. In addition to her engineering and business leadership, Ramani has extensive international expansion experience. She will report to the Chief Operating Officer of Outcome Health, Vivek Kundra.

“We are honored to welcome Nandini to our executive team and thrilled to have her lead the realization of our product roadmap in our journey to transform the healthcare experience,” said Shradha Agarwal, President of Outcome Health. “Excellence in engineering is foundational to our ability to scale across consultation rooms around the world as we further our mission of activating better health decisions to improve patient outcomes.”

This executive hire follows the first equity financing round of more than $500M, announced by Outcome Health in May, with investors including Goldman Sachs Investment Partners, CapitalG, Leerink Transformation Partners, Pritzker Group Venture Capital and Balyansy Asset Management, among others.
