PUBLICIS HEALTH NAMES RAVIT ANSAL AS CHIEF DIGITAL PLATFORMS OFFICER

New York, NY—November 8, 2021—Publicis Health today announced the appointment of industry veteran Ravit Ansal as the healthcare communications network’s first Chief Digital Platforms Officer, effective immediately.

In this newly created role, Ansal is responsible for driving growth for the clients of Publicis Health’s 11 agencies by exploring and identifying innovative digital platforms that increase patient and HCP engagement. Publicis Health’s core belief is that “engagement is medicine.”

“Ravit’s experience working at the intersection of digital platforms and business transformation make him a critical addition to my leadership team. As Publicis Health continues to strengthen our data and technology offerings, Ravit’s leadership will ensure our clients have access to the digital products and services that help drive their businesses,” said Alexandra von Plato, Chief Executive Officer, Publicis Health.

Ansal joins Publicis Health from Epsilon, where he most recently served as SVP, Head of Digital Strategy, Healthcare. He was responsible for expanding Epsilon’s marketing and advertising capabilities footprint and driving a 30+% YOY growth. Ansal’s transition from Epsilon to Publicis Health is the latest example of the importance of data and personalization in healthcare marketing. Prior to joining Epsilon, Ansal was part of Accenture, where he was responsible for the inception and growth of the consultancy’s global content strategy practice.

Ansal has long been in the forefront of digital transformation, partnering with leading global healthcare companies to make digital platforms such as Salesforce, Adobe, and Microsoft integral to their engagement strategy and advancing their digital capabilities and service models for omnichannel personalization.

“With digital disruption and current market dynamics, information and HCP/Patient engagement have become just as important as R&D for our pharma clients. The combination of Publicis Health’s industry knowledge, Epsilon’s data and technology, and Sapient’s digital business transformation is unparalleled in the industry,” said Ansal. “I am excited to help seamlessly integrate our network and advance our client capabilities to the new digital economy.”

Ansal has presented at several conferences, including co-presenting on digital transformation at a highly selective panel discussion for the Healthcare Industry Super Session hosted by Adobe at Adobe Summit. He serves as an ambassador for his alma mater, The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, where he advises incoming students and helps with their career advancements. He has previously served on the Chicago Booth admissions committee to review admission applications and conduct admission interviews.

Ansal is based in Chicago and reports to von Plato.
