Purohit Navigation expands staffing capabilities with key hires

Seeks to ensure standout service and production of breakthrough work

 

Chicago, IL—Purohit Navigation (http://www.purohitnavigation.com), a full-service, independent, healthcare communications and advertising agency, announced today that the company has expanded its already seasoned staff to serve a growing client base.

“We experienced a significant amount of organic growth in 2016,” said Ahnal Purohit, PhD, CEO of Purohit Navigation. “With new business came the need to hire new staff members who have specialized managerial experience and skill sets.”

These key members include:

Brad Sherrill, VP, Account Services: Brad joins us after spending 18 years working on the client side of global blue-chip companies, including Johnson & Johnson, Genentech, Novartis, and Quest Diagnostics. He began working in supply-chain and operations management before moving into sales & marketing, and his most recent senior leadership roles were leading the global marketing groups of companies within the clinical diagnostics industry. Based in southern California, Brad will focus on growing the agency’s west-coast business.

Janet Ruiz, Senior Account Director: Janet has nearly 15 years of experience in healthcare and pharmaceutical account management, launching a broad spectrum of new brands and direct-to-patient programs in various categories and disease states. She brings a strong focus on leading cross-functional teams through product launches, effective strategic thinking, and marketing plan development. Janet will leverage her expertise as she partners with a portfolio of clients and manages the account team servicing our dermatology, diagnostic, pain management, cosmeceutical, and surveillance technology clients.

Scott Behnke, Operations Director: A former Purohit Navigation staff member, Scott has spent the past three years at AbbVie Inc. and Continuum Clinical, where he was part of the operations and account management teams. He has returned to the agency to help optimize the company’s operational approach, as well as help manage workflow and resources. By closely collaborating with the account and creative teams, Scott will ensure agency efficiency and on-time delivery for each client project.

Tony Seaman, Director, Digital Solutions: Tony brings over 15 years of digital marketing and strategy development, web development and e-commerce experience to Purohit Navigation, and is leading digital planning, functions, and solutions, while helping expand the agency’s digital capabilities. By delivering transformative digital solutions at the forefront of healthcare, Tony will enable clients to more effectively engage their target audiences.

Varsha Shete, Senior Associate, Strategy and Research: Varsha received her MS and PhD in Biological Sciences from Rutgers University, and completed her postdoctoral training at the Feinberg School of Medicine, Northwestern University. She will assist the agency’s account teams by identifying pivotal scientific and clinical facts to optimize the development of strategic concepts, and will also help guide copywriters in the crafting of medical content. Varsha will also help conduct pre-launch market research and test new marketing concepts.
