QBFOX HEALTHCOMM LAUNCHING INTO 2021

MONTVILLE, N.J., January 5th, 2021 / Approaching their third anniversary in business as a full-service healthcare agency, QBFox Healthcomm is kicking off the new year with a head of steam.

On the heels of a significant new product introduction for one of their biotech clients is the promotion of 3 key staffers who drove the launch; Jason Doce, George Abdy and Mark Vespole.

“A launch thrives in our environment,” observed Steve Viviano, QBFox CEO. “We’re small so everyone knows the brand inside and out; and we can respond and make decisions in real time. That allowed us to do in 9 months, what might normally take a year and a half. I’m delighted our clients are so pleased, and that this launch gave an opportunity for a core group to grow and succeed together.”

The launch represents the second major initiative in the ophthalmic category for QBFox in the past 22 months.

“Much has already been said and written about the novel challenges of 2020,” Viviano continued. “But we never missed a beat. We knew what had to get done; and, led by this team, we simply made it happen.”

Now that team is being further acknowledged; and a structure is being put in place to allow for future growth. Jason Doce is being promoted to ACD/Copy Lead, George Abdy to Group Art Supervisor/Art Lead and Mark Vespole to Group Account Supervisor. All three joined QBFox back in mid-2018; and they had also worked together at another agency even before that.

Doce has been deftly plying his wares for healthcare for over 15 years following writing stints from the newsroom crime beat to editing manuscripts about higher math. His web prowess has been the digital engine for the agency since his arrival.

Before his award-winning 10+ years in healthcare art direction, Abdy has led design and production projects from online gaming to toy packaging to working in children’s television.

Vespole, an entrepreneur at heart, understands how to turn ideas into tangible products in the marketplace and with a winning personality, work intimately with his clients to guide the process. These three, keenly familiar with each other’s work style and ethic, seamlessly helped marshal the launch through rigorous timelines in a year that took a special kind of virtual collaboration.

Doce and Abdy will continue to report to Chet Moss, QBF CCO, while Vespole works hand-in-hand alongside Viviano in managing all client assignments.

QBFox has been flourishing since it was named an Agency to Watch in 2018 based on the broad industry experience — and reunion — of the senior managers, Viviano, Moss, and Stacy Patterson, MD, Chief Medical Officer. They’ve each been honored by the PharmaVOICE100 and the agency has had a number of rewarding industry creative acknowledgements from MM&M to PM360.

“One day it was March and the next day it was December,” remarked Viviano. “But the year was filled with enormous progress and accomplishment on every front. All our clients experienced success, and we are proud to be partnered with each of them. We cannot wait to see what 2021 brings.”
