QBFox Healthcomm On The Move

MONTVILLE, N.J., June 03, 2019 / Just one year after opening their doors as a full-service healthcare agency, QBFox Healthcomm is moving up…literally. With the addition of new staff and assignments, the agency has outgrown its current offices and has headed up the road to larger facilities.

Newest QBFox addition and Art lead George Abdy in his office alongside a few of his inspirations.

“This is more than just about needing extra space,” noted Steve Viviano, CEO. “Our move is also about creating our home… an environment where we can collaborate together in a fun way, where everyone feels fulfilled.”

Viviano is not a fan of the “open floor plan” approach currently in vogue, an idea he claims was created simply for agencies to save money by squeezing people into as tight a space as possible.  “Right now, everyone at QBFox has their own office along with lots of open shared spaces. As we grow, we’ll work hard to make sure everyone continues to have their own personal space.”

That growth is being carefully managed by the agency and finding the right fit with both new clients as well as new staff is vital. One example is the hire in late 2018 of a key creative addition, who joined as art lead. He’s reporting to CCO, Chet Moss and manages the design of all print and digital initiatives for the agency’s primary assignments.

Abdy brings his award-winning style to QBFox from McCann Health where he drove creative development for 12 brands across multiple categories. Prior to entering healthcare, he was a designer with expertise in software and technology in addition to working in children’s television. At the latter he spearheaded design and production for projects ranging from online gaming to toy packaging to app development.

Abdy reconnects with two QBFox staffers, copy lead, Jason Doce and account supervisor, Mark Vespole, who both joined from McCann in mid-2018. “It’s a beautiful thing to watch the three of them side by side by side,” observed Moss. “Great energy. Pure periodic chart chemistry. And clients are reaping the benefits instantly.” 

QBFox Healthcomm was named an Agency to Watch in 2018 based on the broad industry experience — and reunion — of the senior managers, Viviano, Moss, and Stacy Patterson, MD, Chief Medical Officer.  They were also the Grand Prize winner in the recent #convincemetovax contest based on the strength of Moss’s “A Call to Arms” entry. As well, Patterson was just named Elite Strategist for 2019 by PM360.

“It’s been a special first year,” remarked Viviano. “I couldn’t be happier with the team we are building as well as our growing client roster.”
