Fishawack Health announces today that it is unifying under the new name and brand, Avalere Health. Avalere Health is purposefully built to be the leading, global commercialization partner for changemaking healthcare companies looking to maximize the value of their portfolios while connecting patients to life-changing health solutions.

Urhekar will play a key role on the company’s Executive Committee as he unites 1,600 employees as one team under a single vision, breaking down barriers to faster-connect patients to life-enhancing therapies. All business units — Consulting; Medical; Policy; Value, Evidence and Access; Marketing; and Digital Experience and Technology — will report to Urhekar.

Fishawack Health welcomes an experienced executive who will foster business development partnerships to meet clients’ commercialization needs.

In her 10 years at Avalere, Carpenter led the firm’s consulting, sales and operational teams through a period of substantial growth for the firm and significant changes in the healthcare landscape. She will join PhRMA as executive vice president of policy and research.

Harriet Shurville will spearhead the next phase of the commercialization partner’s integration strategy and oversee its career experience programs; diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives; and global mobility.

Polymath marketer Ryan Mason leads the newly expanded group, and Jeffrey D. Erb has been tapped to grow the media and analytics team as Chief Media Officer.

Unification was the overriding theme for Fishawack Health in 2022.
