The new multidisciplinary offering addresses industry need for more inclusive clinical trials and product development.

Clio Health announced the winners of the 2023 Grand Clio Health and Clio Health Of The Year awards at a live ceremony hosted by health and wellness consultant Joe Holder in New York City Wednesday evening.

The integrated full-service offer now includes branding, global market access, patient support services, experiential, and events as well as expert audiences.

This year’s honor went to IPG Health’s Renee Mellas, Group President: AREA 23, AREA 23 on Hudson, McCann Health New York, and IPG Health Canada; and Tim Hawkey, Chief Creative Officer: McCann Health New York and AREA 23.

“At a time when the dogma that healthcare is ‘recession-proof’ was thoroughly debunked, at IPG Health we continued to break away from the pack with growth eclipsing that of other healthcare holding companies. It’s not just our growth that sets us apart, but more importantly the way we think about our business and our clients’ business.”

The three executive appointments bolster leadership across strategy, medical, and APAC.

Based in Tokyo, the new agency brings the storied FCB Health brand and it’s “never finished” spirit to the Japanese market – the world’s third largest pharmaceutical sector. The agency will harness and maximize the power of the global IPG Health network to continue delivering the best talent, capabilities, expertise, and customized solutions for clients in Japan.

Renata Maia joins the agency from IPG Health’s award-winning AREA 23.

Berman will oversee the creative across all clients, building on the agency’s creative reputation and advancing its mission of creating inspiring ideas that emotionally move people to take action.

The agency will provide end-to-end omnichannel offering and capabilities across healthcare that will support and complement the network’s agencies and clients in the region.
